Billie Jean (Prater) Mulvihill

Billie Jean Mulvihill (nee Prater) age 76, of Algonquin, formerly of Chicago, passed away at her home on September 1, 2018, with her loving family at her side. Billie Jean was born on March 13, 1942 in Whitehouse, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Mary Prater (nee Dutton).

She is survived by her loving husband Jim B. Mulvihill; her children, Connie (Rich) Sczafrin, Sabrina Pauly and Jim R. (Kelly) Mulvihill; grandchildren, Shauna Pauly, Matthew Pauly, Sara Mulvihill and Rebbekah Mulvihill; great-granddaughter Scarlett May Mulvihill. Other survivors include her siblings Clyde Sherman (Ruby) Prater, Betty (Phillip) Lewis and Ray (Sue) Prater along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Billie Jean was preceded in death by her parents.  

A visitation for Billie Jean will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile west of Rt. 31) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills). Funeral Wednesday, September 5, 2018 with prayers to begin at 10:15 AM from the Funeral Home and proceed to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Interment River Valley Memorial Gardens.
