Benjamin "Ben" Maranto

Benjamin  “Ben”  Maranto  age 72, of Lake in the Hills, passed away on August 2, 2018 with his loving family at his side. Ben was born on October 25, 1945 in Chicago. He was a U.S.Army Sergeant Veteran. Ben was a man who enjoyed fishing and vacations with his friends.

Ben is survived by his wife Shirley G. Maranto (nee Talbott); his children and family, Vincent (Jennifer) Maranto and Denise (Steve) Wiedmeyer; grandchildren, Taylor Connor and Jordan Maranto; a brother Vincent (Sharon) Maranto and a sister Toni Carey; Ben was preceded in death by his parents Rich and Mary and his siblings, Chi-Chi, Val, Ronnie and Sonny.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 6, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Service and Military Funeral Honors Presentation that evening at 7:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Interment will be held privately.
