Arthur F. Polcyn

Arthur F. Polcyn age 96, of Algonquin, formerly of Sun City, Huntley and Glenview, Illinois passed away in Chicago on May 18, 2019

He was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 5, 1922 the loving son to the late Michael and Helen (nee Siok) Polcyn

He was a proud World War II Veteran serving in the U.S Army Air Corps.

Arthur is survived by his loving children, Gail Moss, Gary (Marcia) Polcyn, Gregory Polcyn and Nancy (Timothy) Shurson; his proud grandchildren, Elizabeth (Eric Freundt) Moss, Andrew (Brin) Moss, Jennifer (Mike) Haefliger, Stephanie (Peter) Lazzara, Lauren (Eddie) Thompson, Eric Shurson, Adam Shurson and Caroline Shurson; his cherished great-grandchildren, Emerson, Ethan, Finn and Emmett; his dear brothers, Harry Polcyn and George Polcyn;

Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanne P. Polcyn (nee Dennehy) in 2013; also by his parents and eight siblings.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd.(one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Visitation will continue at church on Friday, May 24, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd., Huntley, until the time of the Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 10:00 AM. Military Funeral Honors will follow under the auspices of the U.S. Air Force

Cremation rites will be accorded privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of one's choice in Arthur's memory would be appreciated.
