Angela (Spyrka) Prokop

Angela Prokop (nee Spyrka) age 96, of Algonquin formerly of Chicago, passed away in the presence of her loving family on November 3, 2018. She was born in Poland on March 24, 1922 to her loving parents the late Kasimuir and Anna Spyrka.

 She was the beloved wife of the late John Prokop; devoted mother of Fred (the late Susan) Prokop, the late Richard (the late Hilda) Novak, the late Tess (the late Peter) Dawidziak and the late Hank (Joyce) Prokop; she is the cherished grandmother of 14; proud great-grandmother of 26; loved great-great-grandmother of 5; also survived by many loved nieces & nephews; preceded in death by her siblings.

A visitation for Angela will be held on Thursday morning, November 8, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 12:15 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile west of Rt. 31) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Prayers will begin at 12:15 PM from the funeral home and proceed to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin for a Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 1:00 PM. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles, IL.
